  1. Eat Fat & Protein

Don’t fear fat! Eating healthy fats like olive oil, avocado oil, and even coconut oil allow fat soluble vitamins A, D, E & K to be absorbed into your system. This is crucial for not only your wellbeing but your baby’s development as well.

  1. Hydrate

Drinking enough water will, of course, keep you hydrated – but it will also reduce the exhaustion and nausea that come with pregnancy. Drink up!

  1. Exercise

Avid gym-goer? Make sure you maintain your exercise and the activities you love while pregnant! Be sure to modify your exercise programs when necessary — but keeping up with the activities you love to do will be healthy for not only your body but also your mind.

  1. Strength Train

There’s no need to lose muscle tone while pregnant! Strength training will reduce muscle aches and pains associated with pregnancy and even prepare your body for labor. To avoid extra weight gain and improve prenatal fitness, it is imperative that you strength train.
