You shouldn’t have to obsess about your food, your workouts, or

your weight. Believe it or not, there is a way to find balance and

enjoy the process of healthy living without the added stress.

When practiced over time, these tips will make a world of

  1. Don’t let good be the enemy of great

Perfection is impossible, and more often than not something unexpected will come up— you forget your meals at home, or you woke up late and missed your morning workout. Embrace it. The more you practice going with the flow and making it work, the better you’ll get at it.

  1. Every step counts!

Take the stairs, park further away, or go for an evening walk. Do everything you can to move. It will keep you energized, healthy and focused!

  1. Live the chug life (H2O, that is)

Drink up! Keep a water bottle with you at all times to make sure you’re staying hydrated. Stay away from sugar filled drinks and fill up on WATER, WATER, WATER – always!

  1. Focus on your progress, not the progress of others

View the progress of others as motivation, not reason for comparison. Everyone is unique! If you start comparing, you stop focusing on the most important part – how great YOU are doing.

  1. Keep setting goals, no matter how far you’ve come.

Everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes, has to keep setting goals. There’s no finish line to fitness, so continue to keep yourself challenged. Running faster, lifting heavier, drinking more water—whatever the goal may be.

These tips may seem basic, but apply them with consistency and you’ll see positive changes, which get you to a healthy, balanced lifestyle all year long!
