My name is PJ Bock. It is my belief that to feel complete throughout one’s own life you must make a positive difference in other people’s lives and a truly complete strength and conditioning program should be no different.
In my 11 years of training others I have learned to develop programs that empower people to live more full, functional, and in many cases, pain free lives. I do not just train for performance or for the “look.” This is training that will give the knowledge and tools to train for life.
When many people hear “strength and conditioning,” they automatically think athletes only. It is an incorrect assumption that athletes are the only ones who need to strengthen and condition their bodies. I have impacted the lives of stay-at-home moms and strongman competitors alike with my training. Regardless of your activity, human movement does not change. We should all know how to move efficiently. My ideal client is a person who is dedicated to constant progress in their practice of movement and who is committed to be their best everyday.
My clients get what I believe to be the very best guidance possible. I only accept a limited amount of clients at one time to ensure that I can give every client my very best effort. I oversee every aspect of training and lifestyle improvement, and I sift through the confusion that is “the fitness industry,” to bring you sound principles and methods of training. I attend seminars, acquire certifications, and study the trends to see what is useful to improve function and movement performance.
I have held certifications through NASM, ACE, Cross Fit, and BFS. I currently hold my Cross Fit level one certification and NASM CPT. I also have an extensive personal practice with Iyengar Yoga, kettle bell training, TRX, and meditation.
